This votive candle holder is made using actual film from the movie “It's a Wonderful Life.” The idea for embedding a cell from an old movie was the brain child of three projectionists in NYC who didn’t have the heart to see actual film from classic movies thrown away. Each design is a single cell from the 35 mm film used to show It's a Wonderful Life. Each cell will be slightly different than what is shown depending upon where it was taken in the movie. This votive features the film cell of James Stewart who played George Bailey, Donna Reed who played Mary Bailey and Karolyn Grimes who played the couple's daughter, Zuzu Bailey. This is from the iconic scene where Zuzu declares "My teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets its' wings" in this 1946 classic. Add a flame-less candle and this votive makes a perfect nightlight for a child's room. Great for young and old a like. Votive holder measures 2” x 2” x 2” and comes with one tealight.
