Colorful way to add interest to a background and will attract small birds to your yard. Our birdhouses are crafted by artisans in Nepal out of water repellent sheep’s wool. Rain and snow won’t harm them so its completely safe to keep outdoors all year long. Small birds such as wrens, nuthatches and chickadees love the cozy comfort of the birdhouse and keeps them warm when it is cold and cool when it’s hot. The entry hole can be made larger to accommodate larger birds. Each birdhouse is approximately 9” tall by 6.5” wide and 3.5” deep. (The hat on the Woodland Fairy House makes it 2.5” taller.) A clever trap door on the bottom lets you easily clean the birdhouses when the birds collect too much debris. And cleaning is easy with mild soap and water and a soft brush. Fair trade means the artisans get paid fair wages and work under safe working conditions.
